Hello:
Does anyone know of a dll or a formula for finding the arc cosine of a number. VDS math fuctions do everything else I need -but arc cosine.
There is the icemath dll which would work, but I am having a hard time getting it registered .
I am trying to find a quick solution to get my project out-the-door. Any ideas would be appreciated .
Thanks in advance.

I'm sure ya know everything's approximate
with pi - including pi itself...
arc cosine formula: (pi/2) - number
You can @format() this to whatever length is needed:
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
| Code: |
%%pi = 3.14159
%x = 1.1
rem -- get cosine of %x --
%%cosine = @fcos(%x)
rem -- use arc cosine formula to convert cosine back to %x (approx) --
%%arc_cosine = @fsub(@fdiv(%%pi, 2), %%cosine)
INFO "x = "%x@cr()@cr()"cosine of %x = "%%cosine@cr()@cr()"arc cosine of %%cosine = "%%arc_cosine@tab()

Thanks Mac. I'll try the formula.
